When the world called to end poverty, Japan rose to the occasion. With an analysis of how to move social and economic goals forward, the country’s Ministry of the Environment is interested in applying this knowledge to the recently announced goals for development in a Post-2015 world, and continuing this research to move Japan forward in realizing these goals.
This public forum will discuss the Sustainable Development Goals, the applicable lessons of past research on the Millennium Development Goals, and what Japan must do to achieve environmental, social, and economic equity.
