Cop22: A Chance for African Farmers?

Convened by the The Adaptation of African Agriculture (AAA) Initiative, The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of Morocco and The Livelihoods Funds, this interactive side-event with high-level speakers from the public sector, international organisations, business leaders and civil society will put attention on building better public-private partnerships for African agriculture.

The event will include a screening of a short film on the Livelihoods Mount Elgon Project, an innovative project creating value in family farming, sustainable sourcing and landscape management. Other powerful examples from Africa will be highlighted. Panel discussions will focus on key questions:

How to make investments in family farming more sustainable for all stakeholders? and

How can private companies and smallholder farmers join forces in a win-win relationship?
