The Global Landscapes Forum: The Investment Case is an invitation-only event designed to convene the world’s leading thinkers, experts from investment banks, development banks, pension funds and corporate entities with senior government officials. The event will serve as a hub for knowledge exchange around innovative solutions to finance sustainable land use and build a bridge between available private finance for forests and other land-based investments. Experts will be able to explore and realize the potential role of private capital in enhancing livelihood, environment and food security benefits across the landscape, as well as inform climate policy and REDD+ financing by directly linking to the UNFCCC Standing Committee on Finance’s 2015 work plan (focused on Forests) and the Green Climate Fund.
The Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative is organizing two thematically-linked sessions during and related to the forum. See below.
This event is by invitation only. Please contact GLF here or the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative here.
