This October, at the Twelfth Session of the Conference of Parties (COP12) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, policy makers from around the world will be talking about how to transform degraded lands into healthy, vibrant ecosystems.
Over a series of morning discussions, EcoAgriculture Partners, the LPFN, and partnering organizations will introduce comprehensive ecosystem and landscape approaches for not only preventing further land degradation, but to restore damaged lands.
On October 14th, Louis Wertz will speak on behalf of EcoAgriculture Partners and the Landscapes for People, Food, and Nature Initiative on financing strategies for investments in integrated landscape management.
This morning series will highlight many other creative strategies for restoring degraded forested and dry landscapes. Light breakfast will be provided.
