Leaving No One Behind In Food Security and Nutrition Governance

The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) is pleased to invite delegates to the 2016 ECOSOC High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development  to its side-event “Leaving no one behind in food security and nutrition governance : the inclusive process and policy tools of the  Committee on World Food Security”, on Friday 15^th July 1:15-2:30pm in the Conference Room D, UN HQ, New York.

The side-event, co-hosted by the Permanent Representations to the United Nations of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and of Switzerland, will enable delegates, together with CFS stakeholders, to take a closer look at how the CFS inclusive process works, and in particular at how its policy instruments, with the example of the Voluntary Guidelines for the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forestry (VGGT), can contribute to achieving the food security and nutrition related goals and targets of the 2030 Agenda.
