The Partnership Forum at Rio+20 consists of a series of events designed to highlight and promote some of the best partnerships currently contributing to the implementation of sustainable development. The Forum culminates this Friday, June 22, with a session for “forward-looking reflection” and “visionary perspectives” on the future of partnerships and how they may be best positioned given emerging challenges in sustainable development. The session will include an interactive segment during which individual partnership representatives can share best practices and new information that may serve as a “catalyst to materialize sustainable development for the future global agenda.” Sara Scherr, President of EcoAgriculture Partners, facilitating co-organizer of the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative, will be announcing the recently released Call to Action associated with the Initiative.
