Landscape Governance Course in Indonesia

Across the globe, local governments, private companies and civil society groups are experimenting with their new roles as co-developers of landscape governance. There is a high demand for professionals who are able to facilitate these complex multi-stakeholder processes.

A new course organized by the Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation in Indonesia provides useful tools for forest and landscape professionals to adopt integrative approaches to from the public and private sectors.

Course Objectives

  • Critically examine landscape dynamics
  • Understand the implications of multi-stakeholder participation
  • Identify ways to enhance public-private collaboration
  • Be able to assess your own role as manager or practitioner
  • Develop your competencies as a facilitator of landscape governance processes
